Many of the neighbors we serve live in what’s known as a food desert — an area where access to fresh, affordable groceries is limited. For some families, getting healthy food isn’t as simple as making a quick trip to the store. Transportation barriers, rising grocery costs, and limited nearby options make it difficult to consistently access quality meals and fresh protein. We rely on the generosity of donors to keep our shelves stocked and ready to serve those in need. Below, you will find information about our most needed items, what not to donate, and the details on how you can make a donation.
Here is a list of the items we currently need the most:
Canned Meats: Such as tuna, chicken, and Spam
Canned Fruits and Vegetables: Low-sodium or no-sugar-added options preferred
Deluxe Mac & Cheese (no milk or butter required)
Ground Coffee/Instant Coffee
Hearty Soups and Stews
Personal Care Items: Body soap, toilet paper, trash bags, lotion, and shampoo
To ensure the health and safety of our clients, please avoid donating the following items:
Expired or Opened Items: We cannot accept food that is past its expiration date or partially used.
Homemade Goods: While appreciated, we cannot accept homemade food items due to health regulations.
Perishable Items: We have limited capacity to store fresh or frozen foods.
