Access to a hot shower and clean clothing can change everything. It offers a chance to reset, to breathe, and to step forward with a renewed sense of confidence. Our shower and laundry room are designed to provide that fresh start within a space that feels safe, welcoming, and full of care.

Because of the support of our community, we’re able to offer this simple but essential service - meeting practical needs while restoring dignity and creating space for connection. Every detail reflects our belief that every person deserves respect, compassion, and to be treated with genuine kindness.

HOW IT HELPS

For many of our neighbors, access to a shower or clean clothing isn’t guaranteed. These simple resources can restore confidence, open doors to employment, and create opportunities for connection. What may seem small can be a turning point in someone’s day, or even their story.

During just a few hours each week, our machines stay running, providing roughly 15–20 loads of clean clothing for our neighbors. At just about $3 per load, a monthly gift of $50 can help keep this service running and providing consistent, dignified care to those who need it most. What may seem small quickly adds up to dozens of households served each month.

A Glimpse of Impact

One of our neighbors had been coming to breakfast for some time before she shared that she didn’t have running water at home. Without a way to shower or wash her clothes, something many of us take for granted had become an ongoing challenge in her daily life.

That day, we were able to offer her a hot shower, the hygiene supplies she needed, and a place to wash her clothes. What may have seemed like a simple service became something much more. She left feeling refreshed, cared for, and deeply reminded of God’s love. It was a moment that not only met a physical need, but strengthened her faith and sense of hope.
